Our Lesson Program
Welcome to FM Farm! We offer a unique experience for horse lovers of all ages and abilities. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for both horses and riders. Our program is built on a foundation of dressage principles, with a focus on Hunters and Equitation, and includes everything "from the ground up". Whether you're a beginner or experienced rider, FM Farm is the perfect place to learn and grow your passion for horses. We provide opportunities for the recreational student seeking to learn the basics of riding, as well as a training track for the serious rider seeking the competitive horse showing experience. Our Trainer
Val Rizzo brings more than 3 decades of equestrian experience to our program and provides lessons in the disciplines of hunters/jumpers, classical dressage and western dressage for both casual and competitive riders alike. Her passion is building happy, confident partnerships between horse and rider, both in and out of the saddle. She specializes in young, green and challenging “problem” horses, as well as rehabilitation of both the body and mind. In addition to riding lessons, Val offers groundwork services, training rides, training packages, consultations, consignments and lease/sales.
